Paradise
Paradise is one of Carriacou’s premier beaches where you’ll find good swimming behind a protective reef, with calm waters and white sand. Take a stroll down the beach and stop in for a cold drink at an informal beach bar.
Sandy Island
Just off Carriacou, is famous for its beauty, palm fringed white sandy beaches, clear blue waters and stunning reefs. A popular diving site, its scenery has often featured as a backdrop for television advertisements.
Anse La Roche
This is one of the most scenic and secret beaches in the Grenadines. A striking rock formation thrusts itself up just a hundred feet or so off shore and supports interesting marine life below. The sandy beach is superb and if you’re lucky you’ll have it to yourself at off times. Snorkeling is very good off the point. Accessibility to this beach is via a rigorous mile long trail, somewhat steep but well marked, or by speedboat.
Petite Carenage
There is a marked trail leading from the road in Windward, through the mangroves and down to this isolated beach. This sand beach is made up of tiny shells and turtles use it to lay their eggs. The surf is often more rigorous here than other beaches. A recommended guide conducts mangrove and night watch nesting turtle tours.
Tyrell Bay
A beautiful beach not to far from the popular anchorage for yachts, and is famous for its boat building and craftwork, and the oyster beds among the mangrove swamps. The oyster beds can be visited by boat from there.
Hillsborough
This is the closest beach to Hotel Laurena approximately 3 minutes walk. Its white Sandy shores can be seen from almost any part of Hillsborough, which is Carriacou’s main town. Come and experience the our slice of Heaven.
White Island
It’s a divers dream because of its virgin reef and shoals of exotic, tropical fish. The white sandy beaches make an ideal picnic spot and the surrounding waters are great for scuba diving and other water sports.
