Senator George Prime, The Minister for Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs, opened of the 45th annual Carriacou Regatta festival on Sunday 25th July. He said: “the Carriacou Regatta is a crucial and significant contributor to the continued development of Carriacou and Petite Martinique”
Governor General, Sir Carlyle Glean, declared the Regatta opened at the Tennis Court, congratulated the organising committee, led by Duane Williams. The opening was described as a great start to the festival, with the highlight being boat races. This year’s Carriacou Regatta boosts a record number of boats and participants.
